When To Plant Seeds In Your Area

I cannot describe the joy it brings me to see my garden starting to green up!  My loquat tree is even starting to bear fruit for the first time.  In San Antonio, TX, we are well into the planing season and I am happy to see my veggies popping up with the rest of the garden.  If you are new to gardening or are a veteran who has changed planting zones, I would like to share a wonderful resource with you.  The website for the Old Farmer’s Almanac has a great tool which allows you to input your zip code or city, state and get the best seed planting dates for your area.   Simply visit the website here, type in your zip in the “Location” box, click “Search,” and you will receive a chart like this describing when you should start your seeds indoors and when to transplant them outside.  Happy Planting, Everyone!
