My Goofy Post-It Clock

So, what happens when I have some spray paint to use up and 2 cork squares left out of a 4 pack I purchased for another project?

I end up with a goofy clock to post on my wrapping paper station in my craft room!

It isn’t much to look at, but I got a kick out of it.  I picked up a $6 clock kit from Hobby Lobby and used a 40% off coupon to get it for under $4.  I used a pencil to push a hole through the center of two cork boards.  I decided to use two boards because I had two laying around and like that it made the clock thicker and more stable.  Next, I pushed the clock rod through the hole, spray painted the brass clock arms pink, screwed them on, threw on some post-it notes, and I am done!  I could certainly make the numbers prettier by stamping them or printing them out on the computer, but I like the casual feel of these for my craft room.  I also think this could be a fun clock for kids learning about scheduling….

I hope you all are having a fun and goofy Tuesday!
