Meet Erin

Hi!  My name is Erin Cestero and I truly appreciate you stopping by to get to know me.
I spent years in business marketing and sales management making big businesses wealthy.  It wasn’t until I went through the process of purchasing my own home that I realized how much more rewarding it could be to help individuals and FAMILIES make money through their real estate investments.  I started my transition in to real estate by building HomeSavvyAtoZ.com as a free resource for individuals looking for information online.  Then, I became a REALTOR® to make helping others my full time commitment.  Our homes are both a financial investment and an investment in the happiness of our families.  Through Home Savvy A to Z, let’s work together to obtain that home and then keep that investment beautiful, efficient, and a place we are proud to call “home!”
In my Real Estate Career, I specialize in Residential Real Estate and am happy to work with:
  • Buyers
  • Sellers
  • Renters  (Apartment or Home)
  • And Those Who are Interested in Leasing their Property
  • If you have a real estate need and don’t fit in to one of these categories, give me a call and I am happy to help or find someone who can.
Whether you or a friend need a REALTOR®, have a quick real estate question, or have a puzzling dilemma, I would love to be your resource.  I practice real estate in the State of Texas but am happy to help in any way I can with your real estate needs nationwide.
If you would like to know more about me personally…
I am proud to be a Navy wife, daughter, and sister.
I love to travel…

Try to be adventurous any day I can…

And, if you haven’t already noticed from Home Savvy, I love to eat and love to cook for my friends and family.  If I had to pick a favorite food group, it would be funnel cakes. Yes, I consider funnel cakes a food group as you can top them with almost anything and they are still delicious!
And, if you would like an overview of what I cover at Home Savvy A to Z:
When I purchased my first home, I searched and searched for a site to give me tips on maintaining my home as well as making it beautiful.  Information on decor is easy to find but home maintenance… not so much.  Thus, I decided to create a website to include exactly what I was looking for! The foundation of Home Savvy will begin with home maintenance.  You can find an outline of my personal home maintenance calendar by visiting my Maintenance A to Z Page.  Throughout the year, I will post step by step instructions on how to complete these tasks and keep your home safe, efficient, and at top value.
In Real Estate, I  will give you helpful hints on home staging and presentation, buying a home, selling your home, and general real estate information.  Even if you are not planning on buying or selling now, this section will give you valuable information on general functionality of the rooms in your home and helpful tips for keeping up the value of your home.
I could probably talk about food all day but have found that having my hands on the keyboard blogging means they are not around a bowl of ice cream.  Ha.  I will share some of my favorite food and beverage recipes in Eat, Drink, and Be Merry.
Being a Navy Wife requires adaptability and that has been particularly important around our home when it comes to gardening.  Having lived in Virginia, Southern California, and Texas all in the past three years means I have had to learn not all plants are created equal.  Let’s talk about gardening in In the Garden.
If you would like me to address a specific home topic sooner than later, please e-mail me at HomeSavvyAtoZ@gmail.comand I will post about your subject ASAP.  If I don’t know the answer to your question, I will find someone who does!
Welcome to Home Savvy A to Z!
